Web3 Women Wave (Herstory)
Web3 Women Wave, initiated by the Herstory community, addresses the severe gender imbalance in Web3 — women founders account for only about 7% — by designing a complete path spanning skills, project incubation, and international exposure. Through an all-women co-learning and co-living program and a 30-day Solidity challenge, it brings more Chinese-speaking women into Web3 with zero pressure, aiming to onboard 2,000+ Chinese-speaking women into the Web3 ecosystem each year. The project has already held multiple in-person Web3 learning camps and continues to offer its participants project showcases and community connections. GCC's grant supports courses, venue, and community operations, helping this piece of public education infrastructure keep running.
