The GCC Public Fund is the general pool we use to support public goods and their builders, funded by donations from both individuals and institutions.

We prioritize support for the focus areas listed below:

The Public Fund accepts applications in batches, and the current round is open. Please choose the form that best matches your needs:

Projects, Products and Events Individual long-term support

Each round takes roughly 8–12 weeks from submission to decision. If you need a faster, smaller grant, visit the Special Fund page or reach out to our voting committee members for support from their personal allocation. Every member manages an annual budget of USD 9,000.

Are clearly fraudulent or involve founders tied to fraudulent projects

Threaten the continuity or safety of GCC and its members

Keep core components closed-source

Have no current or future reach into Chinese-speaking communities

Already have abundant funding
